was on snowplough duty with 26040 on the 17th January 1984 on the Highland
Main Line. Between Blair Atholl and Dalwhinnie, the locos became stuck
in a snowdrift, and an electrical fire broke out on 044 caused by the
snow coming in... It was soon withdrawn owing to the amount of damage.
